About Us

For over 21 years Olathe Cancer Care has provided compassionate care to its patients.  The practice was founded in 1988 by Dr. David Lee upon his return to his hometown of Olathe for the purpose of opening an oncology practice at the local hospital.  Dr. Lee felt it was imperative for cancer patients in Olathe and the surrounding area to have access to quality cancer care in a community setting.  Dr. Lee served as a solo practitioner until 2004, when he was joined by Dr. Larry Corum. 

From the front office staff to the clinical team, we have a compassionate and cohesive group.  The Olathe Cancer Care team truly understands and empathizes with the needs of oncology patients.  We are aware that a "one size fits all" model cannot apply to cancer patients since the individual needs vary.  We value open and honest communication both within our team and with patients and their families.
